Accounting Manager

This position will take over for a long tenured employee who is being promoted. The role manages a team of 3 staff accountants and is responsible for month end close, cash management / treasury accounting, tax coordination, and general management of the accounting team.
The employer has 75 years in Western, MA and is an internationally known manufacturer that is actively growing and adding to multiple areas of their business.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required. Previous Management experience is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Accounting professionals to build processes and procedures
- Lead Treasury Function including cash management
- Internal Audit / Compliance reviews
- Help Direct Reports drive process improvements in payroll processing, accounts payable & receivable
- Assist with Company wide financial projections, Annual Budget and more
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Previous Management Experience
- Experience in the Manufacturing Sector is preferred but not required
