M&A Corporate Financial Analyst

Kforce’s client is a global Technology Services Provider, seeking a M&A Corporate Financial Analyst for its Newton, MA office. The M&A Analyst will provide strategic FP&A support to the Corporate Development team. This position will be 100% remote to start, with flexibility to work from home moving forward. Responsibilities:

  • Perform and support financial analysis of potential acquisitions and coordination of due diligence for the Corporate Development Team
  • Identify and research potential acquisition opportunities through market analysis and interactions with business partners
  • Research and analyze high priority strategic markets, including industry mapping and deep dives into targeted M&A and partnership opportunities
  • Provide support in negotiations, creation of term sheets and definitive agreements and provide coordination of all transaction documents within the data room
  • Develop financial projections & valuation analysis for acquisition targets
  • Support related financial analysis and reporting activities from pre-acquisition through post-acquisition and integration
  • Prepare presentations and reporting to senior management on potential M&A transactions, capital structure, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Provide strategic financial insights when performing analysis and reporting which includes creating data visualizations and presentations
  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, and additional responsibilities as required

Job Requirements:


  • B.S./B.A. required
  • 2-6 years of related experience in transaction advisory, M&A, corporate development, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or other analytical finance roles
  • Superior quantitative and analytical skills with financial modelling experience building operational, acquisition, and growth models and pro forma financials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing board and/or executive level strategic and financial presentations
  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative and create concise and decision supporting analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
