Responsible for driving financial insights, enterprise wide offerings, and business alignment to deliver on commercial programs.

Finance Director, you will lead a team to provide analytical support for the Corporate Accounts & EMEA teams and will:Finance Business PartneringProvide direct business partnership to the President, Corporate Accounts including leadership of the organization in financial acumen and decision making as well as execution of short and long-term plans.Lead the financial processes for Corporate Accounts and Europe & Emerging markets Commercial teams including key processes (monthly close, QBRs, AOP, strategic plans, and account prioritization/selection.)Establish and improving the performance metrics to assist with business evaluation and decision-making with accurate and timely reporting and analysis of data.Support the strategic planning process (Account Prioritization and Account Selection) for corporate accounts by analyzing current and new business relationships and identifying and quantifying new opportunities for growth.Oversee corporate-wide proposals and incentive programs through end to end deal modeling, implementation of incentive structures, and the executive leadership approval process.

Drive adoption of Customer Loyalty Framework to support evaluation of relationships and incentive offering.Actively participate in key business decisions, contract reviews/negotiations, etc., related to the Corporate Accounts customer portfolio.Manage Corporate Accounts incentive accrual forecasting, reconciliation, and payment processes in conjunction with the impacted company divisions and business units.

Ensure contract compliance, appropriate accounting/reporting and timely payment to customers.Provide financial leadership and oversight for the EMEA Commercial finance team to prepare a consolidated view of the EMEA regional trends, market dynamics and performance across all Divisions to drive incremental growth.

Drive initiatives to support the Corporate country model including improving customer experience, preparing and tracking government funding, and mitigating market risks.Organizational DevelopmentRecruit, retain, and develop high-performing Finance professionals.

Provide leadership, coaching and career development.Drive and foster collaborative relationships with divisional colleagues.Remove barriers to execution across processes and drive alignment across organization to accomplish commercial goals.Business Analytics & Data VisualizationDrive finance strategy for Corporate Accounts in EMEA.

Prioritize tools and projects by preparing and delivering digital roadmap to drive reporting, insights and thought leadershipProvide actionable insights to drive customer strategy and growth including, but not limited to, customer financial analysis, analysis of go to market models, share of wallet analyses, and long-term account planning.Partner with Corporate IT to deliver enterprise wide customer reporting including close collaboration with divisional finance teams to ensure reliable and up to date reporting of bookings, revenue, and accounts receivable balances by leveraging BI tools to expand reporting capabilities.Develop strategies that support our customer programs, partnering with the Thermo Fisher IT organization including KPIs that measure Thermo Fisher’s value creation.How will you get here?Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant area; MBA preferredExperience:10+ years of progressive finance experience; previous supervisory experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesPosses advanced analytical capabilities with proven financial modeling skills utilizing MS Excel, Tableau and Hyperion Financial Management & PlanningCommunicate effectively (both written and verbal) with all levels of the organizationThrive in a matrixed environment and have the ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams developing strong relationship at all levels within an organization.Keep an eye toward continuous improvement with a successful track record of optimizing processesJuggle multiple projects and execute them successfullyIndividual must possess high level of integrity and ethics, strong business acumen, and well-developed analytical skills.
