Property Administrative Assistant

  • Certify tenant income accurately and timely, ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate in order to determine eligibility and ensure program compliance;
  • Maintain tenant files, track and prepare files for annual renewal and recertification process;
  • Prepare and submit all recertification’s to Property Manager for review and final approval;
  • Forward non cooperative recertification cases to designated attorney;
  • Assist the Property Manager in achieving occupancy goals through tenant retention, marketing, leasing and rent collection;
  • Monitor monthly receivables, prepare 30-day notices and agreements, pursue eviction/termination as necessary;
  • Assist Property Manager in preparation for audits and compliance monitoring;
  • Provide administrative support to Property Manager and other Way Finders departments in support of the achievement of department and organizational goals;
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal staff and departments, owners, community groups, funding sources, and other housing related departments or agencies to achieve goals;

 
Requirements Include:

  • 2 years administrative/customer service experience
  • Bi-lingual ability required
  • Good customer service skills with strong ability to communicate effectively with internal staff as well as external clients;
