Jr. Organic Sensor Assembler

This is a Full-time position in Waltham, MA posted February 22, 2021.

This person is responsible for the processing of the various organic-based biosensors for both core and OEM analyzers. Under general supervision, this person will perform routine and complex assembly operations. Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. Required to manufacture only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules. Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Ability to work with various epoxies, solvents and chemicals as required during assembly. Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product yields. Must have the ability to set up and operate a variety of production equipment such as ultrasonic welders, UV adhesive dispensers, auto polishers, laser coders, lathes and soldering irons. Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related process documentation is required. Person must work well with other individuals within the group and department. Interaction with department management and engineering teams are necessary and frequent. Qualifications: High School/Trade School educated with good math and communication skills. 0 2 years of experience. Jr. Organic Sensor Assembler Skills; HAZCOM Training; Chemical Hygiene Training; Right to Know; QSR/ISO Regulations; AP, TP, OI and OP training specific to area of responsibility.
