Machine Operator


This is a Full-time position in Millbury, MA posted January 22, 2022.

**Description:**Our client is located in Millbury, MA, is a Manufacturing Company supporting Aerospace, Photonics, Telecommunications, and Commercial.

They are a build to print shop.

Customers to to them to manufacture metalized ceramic plates.Founded in 1985, they have grown to become a major supplier of metalized ceramics to the Medical, and Telecommunications and a variety of other industries.

Their founders were technologists who sought to solve problems associated with microelectronics packaging.

After working to perfect the precision machining and prepping of ceramics for the acceptance of various metals, we took the plunge and developed several essential processes for that next step.

This was the start of our special journey that propelled us into the company we are today.

As a multifaceted manufacturer of machined and metalized ceramic substrates, we offer a variety of techniques to properly pair our customers with a technology that specifically matches their needs.Hours: The Company works a four day, ten-hour per day work week, Monday through Thursday.

The first shift hours are 6:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m.The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for various manufacturing processes on production parts that include:
• Complete work according to process sheet instructions, in a tightly controlled environment
• Test work results and document part parameters by completing the process sheet
• Manufacturing processes may include: Sanding Bench Procedure, Scrubbing DBC procedure, Via Fill Procedure, Via Drill Procedure, Dice Mounting Procedure and DBC Photolithography
• Cross-train as requested in other areas of the company
• Must be able to work in a sitting or standing position for up to 10 hours.
• Must be able to wear a lab coat, spittle mask and gloves while working.
• Position requires working with chemicals, measuring devices, ultrasonic devices and microscopes.
