Overview:

Our high-profile client is seeking an IT Operations Technical Support Engineer for a 9 month contract assignment onsite in North Reading, MA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Building/configuring hardware (i.e. laptops, desktops, kindles)
Resolving system access requests by providing proper access
Procuring and stocking peripherals in vending machines
Shipping equipment
Maintaining equipment counts and asset management (i.e. receiving hardware, adding to system, and disposing of all packaging).
Maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring all equipment is stored appropriately.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a help desk environment supporting more than 250 users in a team environment.
Ability to handle ambiguity and escalations.
Solid experience with Mac OS, Windows, Ubuntu.
Ability to demonstrate ownership, superior customer service skills, communicate efficiently with your peers as well as the customer.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
Project management experience a must.
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Ability to work independently is a must.
