The Dental Clinic Operations Manager (OM) is an integral part of our leadership team in the dental clinic.

The OM is responsible for managing the dental team to ensure efficient service delivery within the practice and overseeing all day-to-day operational aspects within the dental clinic to achieve high quality care, excellent customer service, and optimize cost to align with department and organizational strategy, goals and values.

Ensure efficient and effective day to day operations of the dental clinic.
Manage operational and revenue goals.
Interpret, understand and manage controllable items on dental software (Dentrix)
Full understanding of productive scheduling methods to meet revenue goals.
Continuous support of excellence in patient service and satisfaction; address and resolve any patient issues or concerns in a timely fashion
Participate in quality assessment and improvement activities as requested
Perform human resource related issues including assuring proper staffing levels, performance, staff development, ER issues, and annual performance reviews for dental clinic staff.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of new initiatives
Responsible for overseeing Dental Clinic patient scheduling.

Goal is to maximize schedules, align staffing and patient activity, and establish an efficient intake process that supports maximization of Dental Clinic growth.
Recommend strategies to grow patient volume.

Prepares volume variance reports as needed with goal of understanding volume drivers to help support long-term program growth.
Partner with patient advocate to resolve patient related issues
Conduct monthly staff meetings to address concerns/opportunities, and create clear communications with practice teams
Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory requirements
Maintains professional appearance and conduct within the workplace
Perform all other related duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

A degree in dental, healthcare or related field strongly preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years management experience required.
Previous experience managing a dental office or related ambulatory practice required.
Dental billing/3rd party reimbursement experience required.
Adept in MS Office applications, especially Excel
Dentrix application experience preferred
Bilingual preferred but not required
Strong leadership and team-oriented skill required
Strong written and verbal communications skills required
Strong organizational skills preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00
– $57.00 per hour
