The Senior Manager, Learning & Development
– Clinical Operations is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating training and development programs to ensure the Global Clinical Operations team acquire the skills and develop the competencies required by Novocure to meet organizational objectives.

The Sr.

Manager will work closely with key personnel within and across functions to develop, disseminate, and refine L&D procedures.

This is a full-time, exempt, field based position reporting to the Director, Clinical Operations Project Management.

This position will require the ability to work remotely and outside of regular business hours, if needed.

Focus on optimizing people, processes, and culture to accelerate business performance and promote and foster an inclusive culture where all Global Clinical Operations can leverage their unique talents Identify and design a talent management and learning strategy for the Global Clinical Operations team Design and implement Global Clinical Operations L & D framework to support evolving organizational requirements Oversight, own, lead and/or participate on process excellence and/or functional projects Create and refine standard L & D procedures as required Proactively identifies opportunities for Clinical Operations process improvement Deliver L & D solutions and expert consultancy for the Global Clinical Operations team, including leading onboarding of new clinical team members Provide strategic design, oversight, and guidance on enterprise level organizational development projects Collaborate with Global Training and Global Clinical Operations leadership to implement short and long-range L & D plans that support achievement of strategic and operating goals, targets, and anticipated results Develop, maintain, and deliver key career stage programs Provide coaching, assessment, and individual level development Partner with key stakeholders to develop and report on actionable L & D metrics and performance indicators Promoting internal and external training and development, and evaluating these promotional activities Facilitate workshops, meetings, demonstrations and conferences Plan, monitor and perform ongoing evaluation and assessment of training quality and effectiveness, and review and modify training objectives, methods and course deliverables (self, materials, trainees, participants, presenters, and process/procedure).

Liaise with external training providers to arrange delivery of specific training and development programs as per training needs Other duties as assigned
Knowledge of applicable regulations Strong presentation and facilitation skills Exceptional oral/written communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to successfully collaborate with various functional teams Demonstrated experience in working with others to achieve organizational objectives including the ability to anticipate and adapt to support changing business needs Bachelor’s degree preferably in Nursing, Medicine or other Life Sciences, or RN degree from an accredited school or equivalent Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in different positions in the field of clinical trials Demonstrated experience leading an L & D function a plus Working knowledge of ICH/GCP Experience leading Clinical Trial Processes Experience in global management is a plus Oncology experience preferred Familiarity with Medical Device regulations, clinical trials, and ISO Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize among multiple work streams Effective and flexible to adapt and work in fast paced environment and with cross-functional teams Demonstrated passion for helping people learn and grow Proven ability to achieve goals in a timely manner exercising good judgment, creative problem solving, and sound decision-making skills
