– University CampusPosition Summary:Supervises the day to day operations of the Oncology/Infusion Center Pharmacy.

Works closely with the manager/director to ensure that the area has appropriate staffing levels, staff are compliant with hospital and Department policies and competencies and area adheres to federal, state and local regulatory guidelines.Major Responsibilities:* Plans, directs, and controls the comprehensive pharmacy services provided by the Oncology/Infusion Center Pharmacy* Assures adequate staffing for area.

Prepares monthly schedule and daily work assignments.

Supervises assigned personnel.

Staffs as needed.* Coordinates the assignment of tasks and helps resolve technical and operational problems.

Evaluates the impact of solutions to ensure goals are achieved.* Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as JC, DPH, DEA etc.

Develops and maintains procedures to meet regulatory requirements in accordance with hospital policy.* Oversees controlled substance record keeping and reports any issues to the Manager/Director.* Oversees appropriate inventory levels of all drugs, supplies and equipment using approved procurement methods.* Maintains competencies and skills necessary to work/staff in Hematology/Oncology, Outpatient and Inpatient Pharmacy to meet the needs of the organization to deliver seamless patient care.* Assists with coordinating the orientation and training of Pharmacy Service employees and trainees working in or assigned to the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy.Position Qualifications:License/Certification/Education:Required:Pharm D or equivalent.

Must be a Registered Pharmacist in MA.Preferred:Three to five years of hospital experience preferred.1-3 year of experience in Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy.2 years of pharmacy supervisory/management experience strongly preferred.Standards of Respect:” />We’re striving to make respect a part of everything we do at UMass Memorial
