VP Human Resources Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Working in partnership with the SVP of Human Resources to oversee Recruitment, Benefits Administration, Payroll/Compensation, Employee Relations, Talent Management and Policy Administration.     

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive workplace.  Contributing energy and ideas to further develop an already strong company culture.
  • Responsible for pre-screening applicants for internal and external recruitment including selection of employees for hire, promotions, changes of job assignments, transfers or end of employment.  Will work with managers to develop and update job descriptions bank-wide.
  • Oversees Talent Management program.  Partnering with managers to provide consistent and detailed feedback to employees as a commitment to their professional development.
  • Ensures that Employee Benefit and Payroll/Compensation programs are administered timely and accurately.
  • Working in conjunction with management on employee issues as it relates to HR policy and procedures to provide appropriate recommendations and resolutions. 
  • Researches and provides training recommendations to managers, employees and internal professional development and programs
  • Conducts periodic reviews of compensation and benefit programs to ensure they meet the needs of the employees and are competitive with those in banking peer groups
  • Project management 
  • Oversee annual update to the Employee Guidebook and HR Policies.  Handle annual filings to include EEO Compliance, Affirmative Action and annual NMLS registration.

Education/Experience/Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or university) in Business or Management or the equivalent work related experience required. 
  • Five to eight years of related HR experience 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Senior Professional or Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
