The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement and manage workflows to automate the build and delivery of the VeloCloud SD-WAN products and services. Candidates must be well-versed in CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems management and virtualization technologies, especially as it relates to Cloud Service Providers, Private Clouds and datacenter infrastructure. Proficiency with scripting languages and orchestration tools is also paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement modern CI/CD and container technology to deliver SaaS product.

  • Work closely with the engineering teams to design and develop robust build and release infrastructures for rapid testing and delivery of product.

  • Develop services and virtualized network functions through orchestration tools

  • Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficient use of resources.

Skills & Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in a DevOp role or software engineer role in infrastructure development

  • Strong coding / scripting experience in Python and Bash.

  • Recent experience managing SaaS infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP Services.

  • Strong understanding of modern CI/CD architecture, build and release processes

  • Solid knowledge of Git version control and admin level understanding of Linux systems.

  • Hands-on experience with following orchestration tools: Docker, Terraform, cloud orchestration CLI, Kubernetes.

  • Deep understanding of and experience in implementing best cloud security practices.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana/Prometheus, ELK
