LearnWell: Social Worker


This is a Part-time position in Plymouth, MA posted January 2, 2021.

LearnWell is specialized and dedicated to supporting the 49% of all students who may be struggling with an underlying mental health condition—such as depression, anxiety or other mood disorders—which often manifest in self-destructive behavior, substance use, and eating disorders.

In partnership with treatment facilities and school districts, we provide an integrated set of academic and mental wellness services for students and their families throughout the continuum of care.

At LearnWell, we are focused on helping children and adolescents struggling with mental health to get access to mental health counseling and academic support they need.

We’re looking to bring on several new clinicians to help with our growing clientele in Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey via teletherapy.

Clinicians will treat patients with common diagnoses of depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders in partnership with mental health facilities and K-12 educators.

As a LearnWell affiliated therapist, you are supported by a highly-motivated team dedicated to one mission: supporting mental health wellness.

You will be able to focus your energy on patient outcomes, while LearnWell handles all aspects of administrative support.

We provide ongoing patient referrals and schedule your appointments; we give you access to atelehealth platform to conduct your sessions; and then we process allof the patient billing, as well as submitting and resolving insurance claims.

Flexibility: LearnWell Counseling can be your major source of income (” Full time”) or a supplement to your current work.

You choose your caseload size, and you are in control of your schedule and appointment times.

You will have a dedicated receptionist to help with scheduling, cancellations, etc.

Qualifications: Licensed by a State Board to provide counseling in Massachusetts, New Jersey, or New York (e.G., LMSW, LCSW, LCSWR, LMHC, or similar credentials) Additional certifications preferred but not required (CCTS, EMDR, CBT) Bilingual skills are preferred but not required Previous experience providing treatment services to children, adolescents, and families Strong comprehensive problem-solving skills Excellent engagement and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Note: Clinicians are independent providers (1099 contractors) supported by Comprehensive Counseling LCSWs, an affiliate company of LearnWell.

Note: We are unable to accept substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, and business coaches (unless they have an additional license as a mental health counselor).
