Position IT Help Desk Technician With macOS and Apple hardware Location Hadley, MA Duration Long Term Job description Serves as initial point of contact for technical end user support and troubleshooting Manages multiple requests at the same time, addressing urgency of issues as they arise Provides regular status updates to end users until issues are resolved Purchases, inventories, and manages IT hardware Provisions and deploys devices to remote staff Builds relationships with staff, checking in regularly to ensure people have what they need and technology is performing as it should Maintains processes and metrics to ensure technical support is provided in a professional, courteous, and timely manner Researches and recommends products and services to meet user and business needs Develops and updates system and user documentation May develop and implement training for staff on systems and processes in collaboration with other members of the IT team Required Ability to communicate and resolve technical problems with users with a range of technical savvy 1-2 years experience with macOS and Apple hardware provisioning and troubleshooting Experience with information system security principles, networking, and general software management best practices Track record of and ability to build solid, collaborative working relationships strong team player who enjoys customer service Adept at providing proactive needs assessment and supporting staff remotely Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to succeed and thrive in an environment with competing and changing priorities and tight deadlines Highly adaptable and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity A, Network certifications preferred but not required Experience with G-Suite, Slack, and Zoom required
