nn Your role:nn nnAt MilliporeSigma an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the company as a Downstream R&D Scientist II, a critical role within the BioContinuum™ Platform Applications & Innovation team.

As an integral team member, you will conduct original research in the fields of next generation downstream processing (capture chromatography, polishing chromatography, virus filtration, and ultrafiltration/diafiltration) and advanced process analytics (automated sampling, next generation in-line sensors).

You will also conduct HPLC and ELISA-based assays in support of existing and future projects focused on integrated continuous processing.

Beyond the lab-based activities, you will also develop new project proposals, align project objectives with key stakeholders, and support internal and external thought leadership activities.nn nn nn nn Who you are:nn nn Minimum Qualifications: nn Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering or related Science or Engineering discipline with 2+ years’ experience in downstream processing or process analytics or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering or related Science or Engineering discipline nn nn nn Preferred Qualifications: nn Experience with HPLC and ELISA-based assays Experience with the downstream processing (chromatography and filtration) of mAb’s Ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment Agility and curiosity to aggressively explore new technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support internal and external thought leadership activities Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously to meet project deliverables and timelines Ability to leverage DOE and conduct statistical data analysis nnRSRMSnn
