Field Tech Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is working with a client seeking a Field Tech Associate in the Boston, MA area. Responsibilities of the Field Tech Associate:

  • Field Tech Associate is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, routine and/or emergency service on our centralized monitoring systems
  • Provide exemplary service to all Mesa Labs customers
  • Maintain detailed field records, work orders and daily weekly and monthly schedules
  • Perform system qualifications to Mesa Labs standards and protocols
  • Field Tech Associate will work creatively, both alone and with other team members
  • Ensure all equipment functions to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Travel by car and air required
  • Report back to the Field Services Manager on a regular basis
  • Field Tech Associate will accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing and sales opportunities
  • Provide support and make sales recommendations of turnkey solutions for existing and new clients
  • Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Understanding the Customer, Client relationships

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years’ experience as an IT Field Tech, electrician, or installing and servicing alarm/monitoring systems, or related field
  • General IT/Networking/Computer knowledge
  • Experience in hospitals and labs
  • Low voltage wiring/systems or alarm type system experience
  • Willing to travel 50-100% Monday-Thursday. Travel will include the Boston, MA area and other cities on the east coast.
