If this sounds like the choice you want to make, then choose MITRE—and make a difference with us.Job Description and Responsibilities Advise and support Government sponsors to develop the vision, strategic direction, and actionable acquisition approaches to achieve mission success.Develop repeatable solution sets and acquisition artifacts that support innovative and forward-leaning acquisition solutions (e.g., Middle Tier of Acquisition, Other Transaction Authorities).  This includes requirements documents, statements of work, solicitations, source selection plans, risk management plans, test strategies, and other acquisition/organizational planning documents.Support the analysis, evaluation, development, and execution of traditional and innovative acquisition strategies.Collaborate with the Government to shape outcomes that maximize quality, value, and partnerships with key stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications:BS and 8 years related experienceApplicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.Required Qualifications:8+ years of “hands on” experience with DoD and Government acquisition, including risk management and source selection.Previous experience in the acquisition areas as specified in the job description and responsibilities.Working knowledge and experience with DoD and/or Government agency acquisition processesAbility to translate operational mission needs into acquisition, technical, and programmatic requirements/strategies.Demonstrated skills and experience in presenting both verbally and in writing.Provide strong leadership, management, and soft skills.Candidate must possess a current Secret clearance to be considered for this position.Preferred Qualifications:BS/BA and 10 years related experience.Demonstrated experience developing section 804 strategies; rapid, agile or accelerated acquisition strategies; tailored DoDI 5000.02 strategies; or Other Transaction strategies and subsequent agreementsExperience with classified acquisitions is desired.DAWIA Contracting Level III or DAWIA Program Management Level IIIExperience as a U.S.
