Salary $65,000 – $80,000 per year

Schedule/Shift Differentials
Additional shift differentials available
Weekday M-F 3-11p & 11p-7a shift = $3.50/hr.
Weekend Sat/Sun 7a-3p shift=$2.00/hr.
Weekend Sat/Sun 3p-11p & 11p-7a = $4.50/hr
Job Details
Job Responsibilities
- Assesses basic health needs of each youth in our program.
- Dispense medication, provide treatment for medical conditions and minor illness, and administer emergency first aid.
- Provide First Aid education for staff.
- Maintain youth medical files including documentation of medication administration and all medical interventions with youths.
- Maintain medical testing and exams for youths and coordinate appropriate medical testing and exams.
- Consult with RN and Providers to develop any necessary medical treatment.
- Maintains medical supply inventory.
- Communicate pertinent medical information to RN and staff, and attend nursing meetings, treatment team meetings.
- Support RN in behavioral youth crisis including restraints as appropriate to scope of practice.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.
Qualification/Education/Experience/Personal Characteristics
- High school diploma and Licensed Practical Nurse License required. Experience with the program population preferred.
- High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
- Good communication and computer skills is a must.
- Must hold a valid drivers license.
- Must possess current CPR certificate,
- Must possess excellent vision and hearing, and the ability to read and speak English. Bilingual a plus.
