This is a Full-time position in Boston, MA posted June 8, 2021.

This position exists to fulfill the mission of the NFSA to promote the fire sprinkler industry in New England with a special focus on the Boston and Connecticut Chapters.

Specifically, this position exists to enhance the experience of membership with NFSA.

This position will aid chapters in enhancing communication and coordination of member activities, to include some legislative activities.

This position will bring the value of NFSA and all departments directly to the members and teamwork and collaboration is essential with multiple stakeholders.The position of Member/Chapter Relations Specialist requires and an individual who is organized, communicates well, and can travel as assigned.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree with experience in a membership organizations or significant experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

Preference will be given to an individual from the Boston or Connecticut Area with experience in other associations or who has worked in the fire sprinkler industry.

This position requires an individual comfortable taking initiative and operating in support of high-level objectives with limited specific direction.

The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating, and inspiring them to achieve results.

Poise and an engaging, empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm is the key to achieving the goals of this job.

The work involves driving toward results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others.

While the job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people.
