We are searching for a RN – Cardiopulmonary who will under the supervision of the Clinical Manager or designee and within agency and department policies and procedures, establish the standards of practice for the Staff Nurse which are based upon the American Nurses’ Association of Standards of Home Health Nursing Practice. Assess and care for patients with various health problems ranging in severity. Work in cooperation with individual patients, caregivers and ancillary staff. Advise regarding various modalities to meet patient wellness and illness needs including medication, nutrition, exercise and technical nursing treatments. Teach and support various positive self-care activities including problem solving and treatment alternatives.
Hours: 40hrs (full time)
Shift: Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm
Travel: Will require driving. (MA RN and RI RN Licensure Required – may obtain RI license within 3 mos. of hire)
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an NLN accredited school of Nursing is required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Two years recent hospital or other relevant nursing experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years Cardiac or Pulmonary nursing care experience required.
Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the population of patients served.
Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, databases and electronic records programs preferred.
