RPA Analyst II


This is a Contract position in Chelmsford, MA posted June 7, 2021.

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst will be an integral part of the development & support teams responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying, developing, and implementing automation solutions. This role collaborates with all levels and departments throughout the organization and third-party relationships in the design, development, and integration of RPA technology, to bridge the gaps between the core system, ancillary systems, data sources, email, or external business partners for optimal processing efficiencies.

This position will be responsible and accountable for ensuring continuous process optimization solutions that enables organizational growth, while maintaining the highest level of member service. Successful candidate will thoroughly understand the critical discovery phase of the design function utilizing comprehensive and proven process mining techniques who works as a team member along with the RPA Team Manager, IT Application Developers, and IT Analysts to deliver complete Robotic Process Automation solutions.

  • Analyze business processes and identifying automation opportunities and assess automation feasibility leveraging RPA solutions, including understanding, and documenting the business AS-IS and TO-BE process flows.
  • Identify and communicate technical infrastructure requirements to deploy automation solutions, configuring processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand using established RPA tools.
  • Problem solvie issues that arise in day to day running of RPA processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required, including after-hours support as needed.
  • Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases and supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases.
  • Design and program (code) new or existing processes using intelligence platform and application API interface.
  • Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document.
  • Responsible for business and industry analysis to identify key business challenges and opportunities, staying current with new technologies to support future projects, if necessary


  • Possess a “Process Thinking” mindset with a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to convert them into solution designs
  • 1+ years of experience in designing and implementing intelligent process automation (IPA) solutions using RPA technologies and/or other emerging automation technologies (e.g., process mining)
  • Must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, collaborating and information sharing facilitating process interviews with stakeholders
  • Ability to design and implement a timely project schedule and work independently on multiple projects in a fast-moving, agile environment
  • Certification in intelligent automation (IA) and/or other emerging automation technologies preferred but not required
  • Experience in supporting the design, implementation, and/or management a center of excellence (CoE) in the automation space preferred but not required
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years min of RPA Development, Analysis and/or Design experience with the UiPath solution is preferred but not required.
  • 3 years min of Web Application experience with some knowledge of .NET 4.0 development (C# preferred)/ASP.NET/Web Services.
  • Strong knowledge of application development life cycle and web-based systems architecture
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience preferred, but not required, with Fiserv Core Application Programming Interface (API)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus
