My client is a rapidly expanding clinical stage biotech company developing the latest generation of biologics with a unique and potentially disruptive technology platform. They are currently looking for an experienced Microbiologist to join their interdisciplinary team. The Role Identify novel microorganisms, their components, and novel modalities for the treatment of cancer, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases Design and execute experiments to characterize microbial physiological, molecular, immunomodulatory, and pharmacological features Provide microbiology expertise to cross-functional teams, to design and execute in vitroand in vivo research studies with immunology, oncology, and other disease areas Author reports and regulatory filing sections Skills Qualifications PhD in Microbiology, Cell Biology or related discipline with over 2 years of relevant experience (industry preferred) Expertise and hands-on experience in host-microbe interactions, biochemistry, microbial physiology, and molecular biology Demonstrated ability to work independently, in a team environment, and comfortable working with highly technical projects and personnel Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for working in a fast-paced and evolving organization The Benefits Based in Cambridge, MA ndash one of the world largest and most exciting Biotech and Tech hubs Competitive salary of 120-140,000 (depending on experience) and benefits package Progression opportunities ndash Chance to get on the ground floor with a well-funded and rapidly expanding Biotech If you are looking to take the next step in your career in the Biotech industry and you would like to know more about this role or the other opportunities we currently have on our books, please apply now with your CV to speak with our specialist Scientific Consultant William Ashbrook
