DNV Markets & Risk’s Engineering and Technology department is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to join our Technology team. The Technology team supports clients with technical advisory, consulting, research, and thought leadership on clean energy technologies and services (i.e., building decarbonization, energy efficient equipment, electrification (fuel switching, smart buildings, distributed energy systems, electric vehicle preparation), distributed energy systems, hydrogen production, transportation and usage, carbon capture, transport and storage, and energy storage).We are seeking a candidate who is flexible, an abstract thinker and can independently solve problems and work with key clients. Candidate will execute engineering and consulting project assignments. Types of projects could include technical reviews of HVAC, lighting, and other technologies; energy efficiency program implementation and evaluation; independent technology and feasibility studies; facility energy audits in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors; and hydrogen economy and energy storage research activities. Successful candidates must have demonstrated expertise in multiple energy technologies, be capable working independently, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $94,775 and $138,600.Please visit our website at www.dnv.com
