As part of Sovos CloudOps Engineering organization, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will establish and improve infrastructure and monitoring framework, optimizing the performance and scalability of Sovos Saas offering.

You will play role as subject matter expert for Sovos platform/Infrastructure, tools, and best practices with an emphasis on service availability, observability, and fault tolerance.More specifically, you will:Design & Build Sovos Monitoring framework by researching/using latest tools (e.g App Dynamic, Nagios, Splunk Scalyr or similar tools) and technologiesEstablish and enhance infrastructure and framework and provide actionable metrics to help see performance issues and address them proactively.Identifying performance bottlenecks, identifying anomalous system behavior, and resolving root cause of service issuesEstablish standard methodology/best practices/run books for everything from monitoring to troubleshooting complex production issues & disasters recovery Represent the organization in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new and existing services with scrum teamsProvide capacity planning for set of diagnostic services and influence product architecture for higher resiliency.Assist in optimize and large-scale data intensive, high traffic distributed applications.
