DescriptionTheDigital Risk Oversight Manager will support the independent Risk Oversight ofthe Business Unit(s) as well as the Measurement and Aggregation functionswithin Non-Financial Risk.Insupporting the independent Risk Oversight function, business lines supportedinclude: Digital transformation in Commercial, Consumer and Business Servicesfunctions.  This role assists in ensuring that the business First Line ofDefense function appropriately manages the risks relative to the units’business activities. This may include all aspects of material risk related tohow the business develops, launches, sells and processes products and services.The role helpsto establish and maintain strong relationships across lines of defense toensure all aspects of the Digital Risk Management framework are deliveredaccording to policy and business strategy. The role may be co-located as neededwith the relevant business and must be actively engaged to support the businesswith providing domain-relevant advice, monitoring, and credible expertchallenge to ensure the independent Non-Financial Risk Program is effectivelyimplemented. Primary responsibilities include:Partner and collaborate for success with management, Risk, and Legal colleagues to ensure timely identification, mitigation, resolution and reporting/escalation of existing, emerging and upstream risks and issues. Work with business units to ensure a strong Risk and Compliance culture and control environment awareness. Serve as an advisor to the business unit colleagues and risk management.Provide day to day support to Non-Financial Risk leadership with knowledge and expertise on the appropriate implementation of Regulations, Rules and industry standards through procedures, other guidelines, and industry best practices. Provide regulatory expertise and solutions on complex risk and compliance issues based upon understanding of business unit’s activities and products.Support the Risk Division/Oversight strategy, to build, synthesize and communicate a comprehensive, principle-based view of risk management; implement robust oversight programs to ensure an effective, credible challenge and opinion as a second line function.Continuously improve upon framework implementation strategy with business management, Business Unit Risk Management, and other Risk colleagues to ensure an open, adequate and effective risk mitigation culture.Ensure appropriate exam outcomes through exam management protocols. Research and analyze risk trends and industry benchmarking to prepare for and monitor upstream risks and issuesQualifications Qualifications:2+ years risk management experience in the financial industry, technology industry or Digital channels industry.Strong communication and influencing skills to assist the business unit management and support/control functions to focus on a strong control environment with applicable policies, regulationsStrong working knowledge of the risks associated with the Digital products and channels and a track record of partnering with business management to implement effective control and oversight programs.Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability are of key importance.Proven ability to develop and maintain high impact relationships with key stakeholdersExpert knowledge of internal controls and risk assessmentDeep understanding of relevant products, services and operations; regulatory requirements; and key processes, controls and exposure areasDecisiveness and sound judgment on a consistent basisCapacity to challenge status quoInfluencing and conflict resolution skillsExcellent business writing skillsProficient use of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint and VisioEducation:Bachelor Degree RequiredMasters Degree Preferred Hours and Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5Why Work for UsAt Citizens, you’ll find a customer-centric culture built around helping our customers and giving back to our local communities.
