Director – Strategic Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Analytics leader.

In this high visibility role, you will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams and uncover deep insights from the data from our millions of unique visitors each year.

You will join an outgoing and collaborative analytics team with opportunities to contribute to, and lead, several exciting initiatives and projects!

This role is a full-time position working within the Global Analytics team for ASICS Digital.

ASICS Digital is a division of ASICS based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Our goal is to build digital technologies to better connect the ASICS brand to its consumers.

We are responsible for the continued development of digital-fitness solutions such as ASICS’ global eCommerce platforms and supporting digital services around the world that encourage people to move, get fit and stay balanced. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Product team, helping define success metrics and identify engineering solutions required to support scalable measurement.
  • Own the Reporting and Analytics roadmap for North America and Europe regions.
  • Generate actionable insights across our E-Commerce platform.
  • Manage a team of analysts slash senior analysts responsible for reporting and analysis of user behavior data, digital sales, customer acquisition and customer servicing data, connecting back-end customer database results to site and media performance.
  • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
  • Oversee tagging implementation and configuration of key tracking systems: Tealium, JIRA.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross functional teams to provide tracking solutions and analysis specific to each team’s needs.
  • Drive self-serve usage of data and reporting across business users in the America and Europe regions.
  • Support content for the monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics or strategy roles, preferably with e-commerce businesses with 3+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Deep end-to-end understanding of analytics, from descriptive to prescriptive analytics across data ingestion prep, development and end user adoption.
  • Sophisticated understanding of SQL, relational databases and visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to inspire confidence, create executive presentations and guide strategic discussions with senior management.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills with a demonstrable ability to engage senior management and engage at all levels of the organization.
