Filling Operations Supervisor (Nights)

Night Shift Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating Shift (2/2/3 format) 7PM-7AM

Base pay + 15% Shift Differential

Position Summary: This position is responsible for Supervising cGMP manufacturing operations at the Thermo Fisher VVS Cambridge site, directly supporting Filling Operations.

What will you do?

Lead a team of 5-6 manufacturing technicians.

Meets with technicians/operators regularly to discuss goals and development.

Proactively directs and delegates staff to ensure the execution of the daily manufacturing schedule.

Performs batch record review, procedure revisions, and work order generation.

Performs training with staff on the floor, as needed.

Reviews and approves Manufacturing related documentation.

Supports equipment, documentation, investigations and improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.

Utilizes manufacturing processes knowledge and investigational skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues and drives continuous improvement in process operations.

Builds cross-functional relationships and enhances relationships with team members.

Works cooperatively with others to meet group and organizational goals.

Practices and promotes safe work habits and adheres to safety procedures and guidelines.

How will you get there?

Minimum of High School Diploma / GED required.

5 Years of experience in pharmaceuticals cGMP manufacturing, with time spent in Filling Operations.

Experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor.

Understands aseptic processing, environmental controls and automated filling systems.

Understands inspection of filled vials, labeling and vial reconciliation requirements.

Thorough knowledge of cGMP.

Ability to function in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Strong planning, organization and multitasking skills.

Solid understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.

Must be willing to work a 12/hour rotating night shift (2/2/3 format) from 7PM-7AM.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering is preferred.

5 Years of experience in pharmaceuticals cGMP manufacturing, with time spent in Filling Operations.

2 Years of Supervisor experience
