We’re seeking an experienced  Sales professional to assist the Regional Sales Manager.  In this role you will work with a team of passionate individuals who thrive on innovation and excellence.  You have the opportunity to strategically shape our sales efforts and build strong client relationships, all while having the ability to enjoy a competitive salary, performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.


  • Base Salary: $40,000, plus incentive plan 
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.


  • Support a direct report sales rep: mentor a sales rep and assist with planning, relationship building and sales presentations.
  • Exceed Sales Quotas: Reach and surpass annual sales quotas by nurturing relationships with employee benefit specialists, brokers, consultants, actuaries, accounting firms, and third-party administrators.
  • Win Group Contracts: Develop rapport and present group insurance plans to prospective clients, ensuring all proposal information is obtained and optimal contract provisions are negotiated.
  • Consulting Excellence: Serve as a consultant, assisting sales personnel with individual cases, generating leads, and providing training and guidance.
  • Market Insight: Stay attuned to market trends and develop sales strategies to guide your team towards their goals, while meeting your personal sales targets.
  • Strategic Networking: Create and cultivate special business relationships, explore marketing opportunities, and develop unique niche products.


  • 3-5 years of proven success in Group Benefits Insurance with evidence of previous attainment of sales quotas.
  • Understanding of Group Operation products, marketing techniques, work processes, and state insurance laws.
  • Travel outside of the office conducting sales at least 70% of each work week and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Possess a deep understanding of competitor products and services, continuously monitoring the market landscape to identify opportunities.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment. Inspire and motivate teams to achieve peak performance.
  • You help promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • You are able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection, and are located in the United States or Puerto Rico.


  • Understanding of leave management and state leave laws is preferred.
  • Leadership skills – management programs, sales leader programs a plus.
