MathWorks is looking for a self-starter, with both a technical background and business experience in working with partners. As a member of the Partner Programs team, you will support our mission of building and using partnerships to drive MathWorks success in key markets. You will help the team to lead and extend the growing ecosystem of products and services that complement MATLAB and Simulink.
The Partner Manager will develop and manage partner relationships and assess new partner opportunities. You will also incubate new partnerships in key sectors for MathWorks. This will include crafting and implementing joint go-to-market plans and reporting on results. You will work closely with MathWorks teams such as Application Engineering, Product and Industry Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing Communications. For this reason, the candidate must possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Incubate/expand partnerships with go-to-market partners where MathWorks is well-positioned to grow and use these relationships
- Design and implement marketing and selling plans for these partnerships
- Build and deliver content and tools to enable sales and field teams
- Create getting started materials to support customer adoption of MathWorks and Partner tools
- Measure and optimize the impact of your activities and periodically report on results
- Follow and refine processes, best practices, and tools to scale partner activities
- B.S. or M.S. degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent. MBA is a plus
- Experience in areas such as embedded systems technologies (MCUs, DSPs, AI engines), FPGA/SoC, or RF/AMS, as well as application areas such as control design, embedded vision and machine learning
- Experience in managing 3rd party/partner relationships with system integrators and distribution channels
- Experience working with technical sales and product development teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and project management skills
- Self-starter with a results-oriented personality and able to thrive in a collaborative work environment
- Experience as a software-focused Partner Manager is a plus
- Proven quantitative skills; knowledge of analytics and reporting tools is a plus
- Familiarity with MathWorks products is a plus
- A bachelor’s degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master’s degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
