HealthPRO-Heritage/Alternatives ABA has immediate full time openings for Regional Director of Speech and Language Services in MassachusettsOur candidate will begin in Norwell and reach across Massachusetts. Will include oversight of multiple sites and development of physical clinics.

  • ASAP start date
  • To begin in Norwell, MA but work throughout Massachusetts
  • Full time position (can provide therapy during afternoon and evening/after school hours)
  • Be interested and excited about coordinating care with behavior analysts and occupational therapists to improve outcomes 
  • Must have experience working with children on the autism spectrum  (evaluating and treating children with a variety of speech and language delays and disorders, especially children on the Autism spectrum)
  • Must have experience with high and low tech AAC and AAC evaluations in children with autism spectrum disorder (Our organization provides comprehensive AAC evaluations.)
  • Currently credentialed with insurance companies
  • Must have experience using, programming, and seeking insurance funding for AAC devices
  • Will be able to support and supervise CFY clinicians as well as other staff members
  • Be willing to begin in person at our Norwell HQ and expand oversight to South/North/MetroWest regions
  • Be willing to embrace the use of EMRs
  • Have a desire to work with a client referral sources and universities to establish relationships
  • Be playful and understand the importance of injecting “fun” into treatment plans

  • Responsible for overall operations and clinical oversight of the HealthPRO-Heritage/Alternatives ABA Massachusetts SLP program
  • Maintains the positive culture and overall mission of HealthPRO-Heritage/Alternatives ABA 
  • Adheres to and maintains organization policies and procedures
  • Ensures clinical environments are safe, staffed appropriately, clean, neat, organized, etc.
  • Works with the billing coordinator and care coordinator to ensure authorization and billing accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversees tracking of utilization data and organization quality and financial metrics
  • Reports data and metrics to Vice President of Clinical Operations-ABA Division
  • Completes insurance billing audit requests and works with care coordinator and billing coordinator to respond in a timely manner
  • Works with training director to ensure adequate training of new staff and continued training and development.
  • Works with scheduling coordinator to ensure staffing and utilization are at optimum levels
  • Assists with clinical oversight of CFYs, as needed
  • Interviews and hires clinical staff
  • Ensures clinicians develop individualized, evidence based, culturally sensitive goals and objectives
  • Facilitates bi-weekly clinical meetings
  • Develops SLP professional development programs
  • Works to promote coordination of care and collaboration with ABA and OT clinical teams.
  • Remains current regarding research and evidence-based practices
  • Assists with completing competency assessments for SLPs and CFYs
  • Delivers any necessary corrective action or performance improvement plan.
  • Competently delivers services via telehealth, when necessary
  • Maintains accurate and up to date “CAQH” profile and NPI
  • Ensures BCBAs collaborate and coordinates care with other evidenced based disciplines, medical providers, educators
  • Monitors practice RCM and EMR accounts to ensure that data, SOAP notes, documentation, billing, utilization is in line with organization policies.
  • Strictly adheres to ASHA’s Code of Ethics
  • Assumes duties and responsibilities that may not be listed above in order to maintain the dignity and safety of those that we serve and the integrity of the services that we provide.

  • Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Must hold a current license to practice in the state of MA
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with pediatric speech and language disorders
