SEO Manager

By joining the Waters team, you are supported with a dedicated team of developers, multiple agencies, and state-of-the-art analytics platforms; everything you need to be successful!nn nnAs the SEO Manager you will:nn nnResearch and understand the global scientific instrument market to identify key topics of interest.nn nnHelp define annual roadmap using industry tools and consumer behavior insights; driving a clear path of optimization thats based on directional data.

nn nnEnsure that all technical, on-page SEO deliverables within annual roadmap are groomed and implemented on-time.

nn nnEnsure and enforce all SEO best practices related to on-page development and the technical composition of content.

nn nnCreating, managing, and delivering a comprehensive global SEO strategy and prioritize initiatives in line with business objectives.nn nnConducting keyword research to identify content areas that drives value to our customers, overall engagement, while delivering maximum commercial opportunity.nn nnWork closely with our Content team to optimize our content and landing pages to drive the right traffic to the site.nn nnIdentify opportunities on and off-site to improve performance in organic search results.nn nnOwning and monitoring technical SEO, while driving requirements to optimize for ranking and on-site conversion.nn nnCommunicating with product teams on technical development stories and providing SEO input into business cases.nn nnAssist when needed on uploading, editing, and managing content on our custom CMS platform.nn nnMonitoring and reporting on trends and changes in keyword positions and their commercial impact.nn nnLiaising with 3rd party suppliers on SEO initiatives.nn nnCommunicating with wider teams and senior stakeholders on how SEO is delivering growth and value to the business.nn nnReport back to the business on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects and how they complement our internal KPIs and commercial impact.nn nnMinimum of 5 years experience.nn nnUndergrad degree required, MBA a plus.nn nnAgency experience a plus.nn nnA passion for the customer and insatiable drive to understand what quality content would add value to their livesnn nnSelf-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.nn nnDemonstrable experience of creating, executing, and effectively improving the SEO performance on a wide range of Ecomm websites, and have solved technical problems for them which led to real business results.nn nnExperience working with cross-functional teams, including Content, Campaign, Marketing, Product, etc.

Clear ability to create, plan, execute, and communicate our SEO strategy.nn nnStrong knowledge of how search engine crawlers work and a clear understanding of the key areas that drive SEO value.nn nnCompetent using analytical tools to identify opportunities Commercially astute
– you have the ability to understand key business priorities and how SEO delivers value to business KPIsnn nnAn understanding of Mobile SEO.nn nnKnowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript.nn nnUnderstanding of how to use owned channels to execute SEO campaigns.nn nnSignificant knowledge of Technical SEO including HRefLang attributes, 404 errors, canonicals, internal linking, XML Sitemap optimization, and more.
