Technical Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Boston, MA. Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:

  • Technical Project Manager will manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation
  • Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management
  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance and mentorship to other Project Managers
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures
  • Develops project plan and drives project milestones
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders
  • Provides day- to-day direction to project resources.
  • Technical Project Manager makes responsibility for achieving strong results, despite balancing multiple complex demands
  • Identifies the component parts of a complex situation or problem and the relationship among variables that are not obvious
  • Probes in-depth to understand the customer’s business needs
  • Explores and understands the customer’s alternatives and decision criteria
  • Can identify and speak to major operational issues across the organization
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 – 10 years of experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects
  • Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word
  • Large company/enterprise level financial institution skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish
